Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in the power cable industry. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, analyzing, and optimizing mechanical systems, ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our power cable production processes.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Analysis:

    • Develop innovative mechanical designs for power cable manufacturing equipment and systems.
    • Conduct structural and thermal analyses to ensure the integrity and efficiency of mechanical components.
  2. Process Optimization:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes for power cable production.
    • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements in mechanical systems.
  3. Quality Assurance:

    • Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
    • Conduct regular inspections and tests on mechanical components to maintain high-quality standards.
  4. Project Management:

    • Lead and contribute to mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion.
    • Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines, budgets, and performance targets.
  5. Research and Development:

    • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering for power cable manufacturing.
    • Drive continuous improvement through innovative research and development initiatives.
  6. Documentation:

    • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
    • Ensure accurate record-keeping of all design and engineering activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the power cable or related industries.
  • Proficient in CAD software for mechanical design and analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
